Apartment Bergen Central

Close to everything. Silverware is in the drawer on the island. Took us a minute to find it. Lots of space. Has laundry in the building and a washer, but wasn't in the listing. A very nice surprise. The roof is great. Safe and friendly building.

It was super well located.

Great location at the center. Easy access to everything we needed, including a super market. Friendly host (but in a hurry). Spacious bathroom with heated floor (but a separate very small toilet "room" where we could barely fit). There was a quite nice view from the terrace at the top of the building (as advertised) but we were not really impressed (we preferred to get to the port 200-300 m away and enjoy excellent open views). Bergen is fantastic (visit to the top of the mountain with the funicular for views and walk in the forest, 3,5 hour cruise to one of the fjiords)

Delay in receiving the keys. We had to wait for about 20 minutes at the entrance of the block of flats as the host went upstairs, presumably to clean the apartment. Upon our arrival the apartment had an unpleasant odor probably due to dirty stuff in an indoor closet (mattresses, bucket and mop, etc.). Cleaning was poor (e.g. we found in the shower cabin a small used shampoo bottle and a soap). The cupboards were messy and the refrigerator was also uncleaned. Utensils were a case of mix-and-match. There were numerous multi-socket extension cords which were convenient but at the same time could be a hazard for small kids.

The place was located centrally and the owners accommodated us for early check in. The place was clean and organised, and there were extra blankets avaliable.

The place was cold on arrival and the heating took a while before warming it.

The host met me on my arrival. Centrally-located, easy to find, walking distance to the central station and key tourist attractions.

The apartment is clean & very spacious (bedroom, living room, wash room). The location is in the heart of Bergen, in the shopping area. Bryggen, cable car to mt.floyen are less than 10min walk, supermarkets are also near.

We had a really nice welcoming, the Apartment was perfectly cleaned, and it had everything we need it for a great stay. We are really grateful to Jim for his flexibility and great attention!!!
