Lakhey Hotel

Perfect location (quiet in the night, very close to Thamel), very nice staff and the hotel room was exceptional.

Lakhey Horel is worth highly recommend in Kathmandu. It ‘s lovely and quiet place that I never found in Thamel before. The new hotel that open 2023 is really clean and comfortable with complete facilities. The staff can provide multiple languages service for international travelers. I booked trekking service from hotel. Their guides and poters are qualified and reliable. Even more to the point, their Chinese restaurant is delicious with fusion style for tasting internationally.

We found the hotel to be new and very nice and just a short walk to Thamel. The buffet breakfast was good and is designed more towards a Chinese style breakfast but we were offered a continental breakfast if we preferred, which I tried my last day. It was more like a western style meal and almost more than I could eat. The best thing about the hotel though was how helpful and kind all the staff were. It was definitely the kindest and most helpful hotel staff I have ever experienced in all my hotel stays.

The hotel is in a good location, and the surrounding environment is clean and quiet (there is a supermarket pastry shop behind the hotel, and there is a pharmacy fruit shop at the entrance of the hotel); it is a 10-minute walk from the "Thamel Street" and 10 minutes' walk from the Monkey Temple and the monkey tampel Darbur Square, etc. and walk for about 20 minutes. If you get up early, you can also experience the local morning market (vegetable market, daily necessities market, etc.The hotel elevator is spacious and clean; the restaurant provides chines food the guest room is spacious, clean and smell-free, bathroom is separated from wet and dry and the shower has high water pressure water staff are very nice front desk rajes ,deeya .samjana always help us ,in addition hotel provide free travel information I recommend this hotel for everyone

Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff from arrival to departure. Large twin room in quiet location yet easy walking distance to Thamel. Thanks to Rajesh and other staff members who made our stay enjoyable.

Dining space in main entrance which felt rather impersonal for me.
