NZEverything about this accommodation met our expectations and more. The house is fully equipped with all the essentials. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals, small and large; bathrooms come with toilet paper, hair dryer, clean towels, hand towels, shower mat, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, hair dryer; rooms have heaters if needed, plenty of pillows and extra blankets if needed; a heat/aircon pump; kayaks; washer and dryer; 2 smart TV's; boardgames; free WiFi; weber BBQ; and an electric door garage. The house is in a quiet location by the lake which is close to supermarkets, dairy's, petrol stations, takeaways etc and also fun activities to do with the whānau such as Zorbs, Agrodome, Skyline, mini golf, 3D trick mazes, and Māori culture entertainment experiences. Overall, this house has everything you need for a whānau, short or long stay. I also appreciated the kind, professional and helpful communication with the hosts - they were fast at responding to messages and had clear information/instructions that were easy to follow. Absolutely recommend staying at the Lakeside Gem, as this is truly a Lakeside Gem (:

NZCatered for our whānau, plenty blankets, nice & warm. Lots of cutlery, utensils, platters & appliances. Beautiful location right by the water. Loved waking up to the sunrise of the lake.
The night we arrived wifi was not going, messaged the property owners took a while to respond so used quite a bit of data, however was attended to the next day.

Was a 10-15min drive out of central Rotorua so if you want to be walking distance to the city conveniences this is not the place for you.
