Domus Silvana Apartments

The statement was clean and there was enough space for two people. It was still and well furnished. It was central for the sights.

The bedroom was extremely hot and it was difficult to access the bed because of the slope of the ceiling. The air conditioning was ineffective and my partner ended up sleeping on the sofabed as it was so claustrophobic. We picked the apartment because we like to travel light and wash our clothes but there was no place to hang them in spite of a drying rack being advertised in the facilities. In the description it claims there is a balcony. This is not the case. There is a landing shared by two apartments and the doors open right across the space. We had to use indoor furniture to sit out the second night but the other nights had to leave the space free for other guests. We were unable to use the communal furniture as the apartment downstairs was using it to hang their washing on. The other apartments appeared to have mosquito nets over the doors but we couldn't locate one which meant we had to keep the doors and windows closed. The door handle to access the apartment was broken and the apartment door was not able to be locked with the keys we were given, only the metal gate outside.

Apartment is in top location, if you want to stay near all the attractions then this is the best what you can get. Whole building is very clean. Very nice terrace. Our apartment (AURUM) was very big with two bathrooms. If you like to prepare meals on your own instead of visiting surrounded restaurants (of which there are plenty) then kitchen was fully equipped. Contact with Francesca was always fast and very helpful! Thank you! If I will visit Ravenna next time, this will be my first choice of stay to check!

the very friendly and courteous nature of the hostess - good restaurant recommendations - 3 good city bikes are available free of charge - the quiet location in the city center next to San Vitale - restaurants, bars and shopping facilities within walking distance - very clean, tastefully furnished apartment with great beds - well equipped bath and kitchen, even dishwasher tabs and coffee capsules were available - large public parking in about 200 m distance (3,00 €/day) - I will be happy to come back!
