Property cleaniness, food, friendly host Rudraraksh bhai very helpful

The host family was extremely welcoming and friendly. They told us a lot about the town and the customs. We were very comfortable but be aware that it is hostel. We loved the roof top. The home cooked meals were great.

They have paid attention to small details like fixing a reading light, secured locker, individual switch boards in the room and designated space for relaxing, sleeping, working etc

Chamba kitni dur.. yes it is but Proto Hostel made the journey worth it..The hospitality..good human nature the kindness.. the love and affection is something that just stood out and differentiates you guys from the rest.. there was no match to it and I'm saying this coz I've travelled across so many regions met so many amazing good people but it was way too different this time..and I'm happy that Chamba is so unexplored and untouched.. It's the people who will make your stay worthwhile.. So to begin with it's a perfect stay if you are looking to work from a peaceful place.. with an amazing view right from your dorm bed.. trust me you'll feel so blessed when you wake up to that view of river and mountains.. Mann hi nahi bharta usse dekh k n neither I got bored seeing it everyday.. it's perfectly located I'll say not too far or too near from the market.. just where it needs to be away from the crowd at the same time.. it's easily accessible from the main market you get buses which will drop you right outside the hostel.. stayed there for a week and still felt that's not enough.. for people who look forward to work from mountains I think it's one of the best places to work from out of all the places I've visited so far.. the internet is good they have wi-fi too which is good.. they do have power backup just in case.. they have good workcation packages too which will not burn a hole in your pocket.. the food is quite pocket friendly and is served fresh.. Ajith will never say no to any of your requests if you want to have something any time of the day and that too with a warm smile.. he puts in so much effort and love in everything that he cooks.. the hostel is just impeccably clean.. the washrooms too even though there are shared washrooms it's just super clean.. the dorm beds are very comfortable.. also every little detail is taken care of right from the switches to the security of the hostel..

Food options are limited. But Kitchen and dining area is well maintained and clean. Very efficient staff in the kitchen as single handedly we manages it.

Cleanliness -10/10 Host -10/10 Facilities -10/10 Internet and Power facilities - 10/10 I highly recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to stay in Chamba for a shorter/longer duration. The hosts made sure that I was comfortable. One of the most beautiful hostels that I have stayed so far. I had a lovely time staying here😌🙂
