We (we are a couple) spent 3 nights at Anayah House. The hotel is in a very good location. You can walk from the airport at any time of the day. It is also a convenient place for a trip to Stone Town (see the connection map and daladala line numbers https://a.storyblok.com/f/301902/1448x2048/27e6138514/07-1448x2048.png/m/960x0/filters:format(avif) ). In the area it is possible to eat and drink in the restaurant across the street or at local street food stalls. Very nice and helpful owners. I highly recommend it. Pawel

The calmness and hospitality is way more from what I thought.... actually I loved their hospital way of attending people with no judgment . The place is sweet as their lovely anayah herself

There was nothing to unlike there .....

Okay to sleep and leave

I stayed in this hotel for a night before departure. It took the owner around 20 min to find change for me and I was super sleepy as I had early flight next day. I am cautious about drinking non-bottled water in Africa , the owner brought me some water in a jar and couldn’t offer a bottle of water even for money, they just didn’t have it. I was way too tired to go outside look for water, so I feel asleep dehydrated.

Its closeness to the airport , hospitality of Host Family, Creativity to charge phone… w/i outages.

There was no mosquito net in the room, no Ventilation no working electricity to recharche mobile, no wifi to do Checkin but the French Host , Cedric, appologist for outages and we made best of it. Sleep was hard in a dark Room with no electricity, nothing for AC, only mobile data and high humudity in Room of Rains- I felt like in a Sauna and got eat by mosquitos. , the surounding (dirt road, simple african style house, dogs for Protection in yard) were Like local sansibar style. In morning, he drives me genourously to the airport (5mins).

Location very convenient walking distance to the airport

It’s very close to the airport so it’s perfect if you have late arrival or early departure. It’s very clean and has everything you need.
