Please note this property is located in Okuhida Hot Spring Villages. Guests will need to take a bus from JR Takayama Station. Guests arriving after 19:00 must inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Please inform the property in advance if guests have any food allergies or dietary needs. We are sorry but we cannot prepare vegan, vegetarian meals, or gluten free. In order to prepare special amenities for men and women, guests are kindly requested to indicate the gender of each guest staying in the room in the Special Requests box when booking. Guests with children must inform the property at time of booking. Please specify how many children will be staying, their respective ages and if they will need bedding or meals in the special request box. Amazing food! Unique experience. The hotel is beautiful and the onsen really nice. Staff is so so nice. They gave my husband a birthday present at dinner (by noticing his date in passport at check in)

The buses don’t stop that much at the hotel stop. But there’s another one near. And if you plan ahead the hotel stop is very convenient right in front of the hotel. Just adapt your plans to that schedule

We had the privilege of staying for two nights, and as Canadians experiencing a traditional Japanese ryokan for the first time, it was truly unforgettable. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the private dining room where we enjoyed beautifully prepared meals, every detail reflected care and hospitality. The combination of public and private onsens made the experience even more special, offering both relaxation and cultural immersion. The service was beyond exceptional—the staff were attentive, patient, and guided us step by step to ensure we fully understood and appreciated the ryokan experience. A unique stay that exceeded our expectations and created lasting memories.

"Wow, lovely Ryokan for true Japanese experience"

Wow - our only stay in a Ryokan whilst in Japan but it was a very good one. The host kindly & patiently explained everything in English for us so we understood how it all worked. Great location with a bus stop outside so easy to get to. Beautiful surroundings. The evening meal was incredible especially as it was our first experience!

The location was beautiful, and we arrived by bus easily. the staff was attentive and we even received a present for our hunny moon which was so lovely! We stayed in a room with a private onsen, and it was terrific! So relaxing and peaceful

The food wasn't to our taste
