KIA HOMESTAY

We had an incredible stay at Kia Homestay and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The location is absolutely stunning, right on the water with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Neny, Habibi, and all of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. They helped organise transfers, arranged a scooter for us to rent, and made everything so easy and stress-free. The meals were delicious, with fresh, home cooked food every day. What truly made our stay special was the kindness and warmth of everyone at the homestay. The entire family and staff were so welcoming and genuine, and they made us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived.

Everything was amazing Neni is great host she did take good care of us. Thank you ❤️

The owner, ibu Neni is a super woman. She's friendly, kind and very helpful. She could arrange everything whenever you asked her. Her cooking was delicious. Can watch beautiful sunset at her homestay. Loved her afternoon snacks she prepared for everyone.

The bathroom and the bedroom have no proper lock. No sink for washing hands.

Absolute gem. Neni is the best host you could imagine. The homestay has perfect location right on the beach with near by corals where you can see the Cardinal Fish. The Team of National Geographic stayed at Neni’s homestay to shoot docu about the endemic fish. Neni is also involved in educating the community about the need of coral protection. We highly recommend to stay at Kia homestay.

The place is well located with sea view a beautiful house reefs. We saw plenty of cardinal fish which was to my delight. The food was plentiful and very good. The rooms were a bit on a small size but the mattress was comfortable. At this moment they are building more rooms and the deck is used to build on. Though it was interesting to see how they build from scratch it was noisy at time. Neni is a great host with so much stories to tell. She speak good English, always smile and has a great love for the ocean . She tries very hard to educate her community on environmental issues around Banggai Laut. She also has a beautiful garden that she likes to show and is worth the visit. Great vibes and peaceful.

The little cats but i am not an animal person.

Fantastic location right on the beach with excellent snorkeling and many Banggai Cardinalfish right nearby. Very friendly people. Neni is extremely helpful with booking boats and drivers around Banggai Laut. If you use this as a base you will not need a guide as you have a “tour operator” on site. Neni also can provide all meals and will pack lunchboxes for you if you want to spend the whole day out.

The 2 shared bathrooms could use a sink and soap so you can wash your hands easily.
