Breezy homes

The host was welcoming, the house was good and had nearly everything we needed

Brian is an amazingly friendly host and such a good human being. He came to pick us up at 10pm as we arrived late in Kilifi. The place is quiet and well maintained, 10 min walking distance from the ocean. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. We had a good time there.

I wish I had stayed longer in this place.

Brian is an excellent host. I came into the town late and he offered a complementary pick up. The room was clean and in a safe and quiet neighborhood For business travellers, the room is a good balance of closeness to the central business district and the beach .

They need to improve on the shower part to ensure it has a hot water option.

The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful-available to offer assistance when needed. The location is also very convenient with easy access to shops, transport etc. Well equipped with all the amenities I needed for my stay.

10-15 minutes to the beach. Amenities are okay.

The road to the place is bad and filled with potholes. The location is only good to reach the beach which is usually filled with seaweed. Upon our arrival the owner has made the listing look like it had been sold put yet there have only been one foreign couple there - us. He has told us that without booking the fee would be lower, without the booking commission. In the end the price has indeed been lower... 50 kes lower so in fact he has charged us more for the same booking since he hasnt paid comission. This is a red flag for me, I wouldnt deal with a person with such mentality again. There has been an electricity outage during our stay.
