A little bit far from shopping center.

Pleasant self-contained room, great value for money. Room has a functional kitchen and a drinking water fountain. The bathroom has a good pressure shower. The host is responsive, provides clear explanations and always ready to assist.

Only con would be the temperature of the room. Even with the main ceiling fan, the room felt too warm, probably due to the daytime heat on the coast. An additional floor/pedestal fan would be useful.

The value for money is great. The apartment is clean. It's only a few minutes walk to the beach. The host was friendly and helped us arrange a Mombasa-Kilifi shuttle. There were vervet monkeys.

As with everywhere on the coast in Kenya, it is very hot and humid, and difficult without air conditioning. However, you'd have to pay a lot more to get a place with air conditioning. Ask for a room with a mosquito bed net so you can keep the windows open at night and get a breeze. There was a rooster on the property next door that took its Cock a Doodle Doo responsibilities very seriously.

Beautiful place, great location, a good host . I enjoyed my stay will definitely be staying there wherever I'm in Kilifi.

Brian was a wonderful host, he could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The apartment was well located for beach and town. We had a great stay
