The view is absolutely breathtaking and the rooms / private patio areas are perfect.

The stairs

The property, view, private hot tub, and staff were all excellent. It’s peaceful and tucked away from the busyness of Positano and Amalfi. The location is great, as it’s between the busy hot spots of the Amalfi coast. Our favorite part of the Amalfi coast was actually being away from the crowds, in this stunning apartment with a view. Giovanni was very helpful and gave us many great recommendations.

Parking is a pain to find. The free parking was always full, and paid parking was tough to find sometimes and expensive. The main shower had black stuff on the wall, so I didn’t use it after the first day. I don’t know if it’s dirt or mold, but I didn’t want to chance it, so I just used the second shower.

Upon arriving we discovered that there are at least 100 stip traps that one has to climb with the lougage to reach the Vila. In our age (76 abd 80) this is an impossible task. Since there is no restaurant in the vila it means that if we want to go for breakfast we have to climb these steps. Giovanni the owner was nice enought and found for us another nice Hotel. However this facility fits only very yound people that need to save money.

This is by far the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. The views are immaculate and facilities are top quality. The host is very kind and understanding. There are a lot of stairs but that’s the case everywhere on the Amalfi coast. I will definitely be back here :)

Vi havde værelse uden spa

If it weren't for the stairs, I could have moved into this place. The room was comfortable but the area just outside the room was the perfect place to just relax and look out at the magnificent views. We had to cancel our trip abruptly. Giovanni was exceptionally helpful in lending an ear and getting us transportation to Naples.

Gorgeous view and attentive host. Great suggestions and very comfortable stay at Calanteluna. The steps are worth the view!
