Calante Luna

Praiano was a fantastic location, and Calante Luna was perfect. Waking every morning with amazing views of the ocean and Positano from our terrace was incredible. Giovanni, our host, was very helpful and insightful and always available for suggestions on what to do, where to go, and how to get around. He made us feel at home in a very comfortable setting.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Calanteluna. Communication before arrival was great. We were provided with recommendations and contacts for the excursions we were interested in. Yes, there are steps, but we knew that in advance and it didn't slow us down. We even decided to trek the Path of Gods one morning, which made the stairs seem like nothing. The room was very nice and had some little amenities that we appreciated. We LOVED Praiano, the views were amazing and it was much quieter than some of the other Amalfi towns. It is somewhat less convenient because there is no port in the town, so getting around by ferry is not really an option.

The host was super responsive and helpful. The view was exceptional.

Calanteluna was perfect for our 3 day trip to Praiano. The views from our room / balcony were unbelievable. The room was a good size and very clean upon arrival. Giovanni (the host of hotel) was very helpful. He booked our drivers and offered to help book a boat tour as well. I’d highly recommend this hotel for the views, hospitality, and central location (super close to bus stop).

Wonderful property with gorgeous views of the Amalfi coast. Room was amazing, very clean and with all amenities provided. Only issue is climbing up and down about 100 steps to and from the property with heavy luggage - just be mindful of that.

I loved this stay! The views were amazing, and the accommodations were the best. The host was gracious and helpful. Be forewarned, there are steps and hills, but every single step is worth it for the breathtaking sights. Pack lightly!!

Loved it all! Laundry was great! View was amazing! Kitchen was great with coffee stocked.. loved the stair workout after amazing dinners out.

Calante Luna was an absolute gem of a stay during our time in Praiano. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. The views from the terrace were breathtaking — waking up to the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea and watching the sunset each evening felt like something out of a dream. The location in Praiano is perfect for travelers looking for a quieter, more authentic Amalfi Coast experience, away from the tourist crowds of Positano and Amalfi but still close enough to visit them easily by bus or boat.

The stairs but it’s a everywhere other than that this is the best place to stay at truly grateful:)

Everytime you take the bus you will walk up a hill to get to the steps to your apartment. Immaculate rooms, plenty of space for the family, we used the hot tub & washing machine, beautiful scenery, every restaurant is wonderful and many are gluten free. Grocery store is nearby. Giovanni is welcoming & knowledgeable about what we want to do during our stay. The apartments have everything we needed & is in a very safe area. If you are comfortable with the outside temperature, you will sleep fine because the AC doesn't get cooler than outside & there's no ceiling fans. Wonderful cool breeze late at night & in the early morning.

The rooms are spacious, the views are amazing and the staff was wonderful and helpful. The area is quiet and private and is right in between Amalfi and Positano so you have access to both!
