The place is very clean. Accommodating & helpful staff. Location is close to the beach about 5mins walk.

There is no near restaurant, but they have their own restaurant with good tasting food,, pharmacy, grocery or any other establishment.

Room was very comfortable.

Food especially breakfast should have better options.

Very nice accommodation; staff very friendly and supportive; good value for money. Recommended

Modern, clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, decent bathroom, the lovely beach & sea behind the property only a 30 second walk away, restaurants and shops 10-12 mins walk. Mini fridge and kettle are always a necessity for me. Fairly basic but sufficient and plentiful breakfast. I will stay here again for sure.

Being on a main road may put some people off (but not me). It was a shame a local Maldivian breakfast was not offered.

We booked a room at the “Sunny Canopy” Guest House in Hulhumale through Booking.com. Unfortunately, the listing did not disclose any information about the exchange rate to be used for payments in U.S. dollars. Upon our arrival, the guest house staff informed us that the exchange rate applied was 19 MVR per USD. This rate is noticeably higher than the official exchange rate and is generally associated with the black market in the Maldives. This unexpected policy resulted in paying significantly more than we had budgeted for, which was both frustrating and disappointing. We feel this lack of transparency is misleading and unfair to guests, especially international travelers who rely on booking platforms to provide accurate and honest information. We believe that such critical details, including exchange rate policies, should be clearly stated on the property’s listing to avoid confusion and ensure a fair experience for all guests.

It was very clean and pristine. Even the linens smelled fresh! The room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. Great place.
