Hotell Salem

The one room had a high sealing. Olento of beds to choose from. That the outside did not match the inside.

Promised two rooms got one with lots of beds. Drain in the shower looked molded.

Good value for money if you understand what you are paying for. Easy location reachable with a car and free parking in front of the hotel. Room was basic and filled our needs for a one night stop before morning ferry. We stayed in a family room with two good single beds and several bunk beds, which were fine. Quiet stay with shops nearby.

Not really a problem, but finding the hotel behind the building took an extra stop as the apparently visible side has an auto repair shop and a cleaner. The slipping toilet seat and somewhat run down shower cabinet and toilet are reminders that you are staying in a basic necessities hotel with no extra luxury. Some way of getting morning coffee would've been appreciated.

The location was really good, it was close enough to everything we needed. The host Christopher is super friendly and very helpful. Comfortable beds. Good wardrobe space with plenty of hangers.

The rooms could do with a handyman going around to fix cupboard doors that were coming off the kitchen unit and general fixings like bathroom doors, sort lamps etc. There was quite a bit of dust in some places and some dried splashes on the TV in one room. Tv is a bit dated as you can only get 5 Swedish channels on it, no apps etc. The fridge/freezer were not turned on, and were very smelly. The shower hadn't been cleaned inside, there was a ring around the bottom of dirt. Since our purpose of the stay here was purely to rest our heads it all worked out very well as we didn't spend a lot of time in the rooms anyway.
