The host was welcoming and provided a lot of information about Koyasan during check-in. Both were speaking fluent english and it was easy to communicate. The facility, including the shared shower and toilets, were clean and well maintained. The bed was soft and comfy. The pictures make it look as if there's only a thin mattress on the floor, but there's actually a small cavity in the floor that houses the mattress, making it thick enough for a comfortable sleep. There's also no noise during nighttime, except for the other guests. The capsule room has a little window which can be opened. There were 2 shared toilets and 2 showers for the 8 capsule and 3 normal rooms, which was enough to use them without waiting time. Larger luggage can be stored in the back of the hallway, which can also be used to dry towels. The locations is perfectly situated to take part in the morning ceremony at Okunoin (2min walk to the entrance and then a 10min walk to the starting point) or for hiking the Koya sanzan and womens pilgrimage course. The bus stop is also a 2min walk away. There are some restaurant close by but the nearest konbini is a 30min walk away. However, there's a microwave and a water dispenser for free use at the guesthouse.

とても安価で綺麗で清潔でした。 宿泊後、荷物預かりOK、雨で傘も貸していただけたこともGOOD! スタッフ、宿泊されてた方も皆さん優しく、心地よい時間を過ごせました。

コインランドリーがあるといいなと思いました。

オーナーの案内が的確で、奥の院の生身供と朝のおつとめに参加できて感激でした。 朝ごはんがおしゃれでおいしくて、他の人との出会い、おしゃべりもあり、とてもよかったです。
