Junction Gem

Fantastic place to stay, beautiful view of Mt Ruapehu, if its clear. Close drive to shops and places to eat, to smaller walks as well. It was a comfy and cosy place to stay with great facilities. We decided to stay an extra day and were happy it wasn't booked out. Highly recommended

Everything was wonderful. Clean,well-stocked,comfortable beds, nice view of the mountain. Right by the train station. Met all our needs.

Although right by the train station, downtown is a bit of a walk as there are no Uber or taxis, but this of course is no fault of the rental property.

Contained everything we needed. Well kitted out kitchen + spa pool. Very comfortable stay. Thankyou.

Great shower pressure and the kitchen is fully equipped. Comfortable and homely, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the weather not being good. Great little pizza place down the road, highly recommend... best pizza we've had in a long time!! Our daughter loves trains, so she was ecstatic watching all the trains park up and leave again.

The weather was not in our favour so we didnt get to see any views of the mountain.

The location was good. Can walk to cafe and restaurants.

Location was great. A nice little town. We could see the mountain from the lounge room or spa. Great to have a washing machine and dryer. Wish I’d known that there was a room with the clothes rack and heater though. My fault as I never looked inside it until we were about to leave! Beds were comfy and it was well set out.

A very well-equipped kitchen, the pressure of the shower was perfect, especially after a day of mountain biking! The recommendation on where to get coffee was spot on! Ohakune has a lot to offer in the summertime, previously thought it was just a ski town!

Initially the location of the house was tricky to find (our car navigation system sent us to the opposite side of the train tracks), but a local helped us out and we were able to find it.
