We loved our stay here. The beds were very comfortable, the private bathroom was clean and well-equipped, and staff were excellent. I wish we'd stayed longer.

Can't think of anything that we disliked.

breakfast and location were terrific.. we had a very tasty evening meal at the property.lovely to be able to walk easily around the town, to see tourist destinations. enjoyed being in a smaller village location

plumbing a little old, broken items and leaking taps,etc. Accommodation did offer to changes rooms and apologized. downstairs facilities seemed to have been renovated,

It was wonderful, the staff were nice and it was easy to get to, also super comfy.

Dinner is good, and we enjoy the wine recommended by employee, good and warm place to stay

Charming traditional hotel and a short walk to the gorge.

The dinner was quite good, but expensive and the kids' meals weren't great (not very interesting and they got a lot fewer courses than the adults - our kids were quite disappointed as other places gave them the same as us). They were also the only place in Japan that didn't manage to give me pescatarian food, despite me advising when I booked, when I arrived and on 2 occasions when I was given meat. The breakfast wasn't very good.
