Pisa Appartamento Notari

Location was excellent, it's super close to everything. The bathroom is nice and newly renovated. One of the bedroom had a decent bed, the other not so much. There is a fair bit of noise from the neighboring restaurants but that didn't bother me and was expected for this location.

The entrance to the building is in this dodgy looking side street. The main stairway to the apartment is narrow and steep, so it's not for people with disabilities or small children. On top of that it was extremely filthy because there were construction work going on on two apartments on the first floor, so there was dust all over the stairs, doors, walls, etc. There was also construction material all over the building, making the narrow hallway even narrower. Nobody warned us that this would be the case or apologized for it. Inside the apartment was fairly clean though they should deep clean it. One of the closets has an unpleasant smell inside. One of the beds was completely broken, as one of the boards in the bed base was broken and the mattress had a big indentation because of that. It was awful to sleep on that bed. The table in the living room was broken and missing a table top. Judging by the reviews this was left like that for some time. The general impression is that the agency handling this apartment is not doing a good job. All of the instruction for the apartment are on Italian and they sent us 3 or 4 long messages, all on Italian with a lot of text, so some things are easily lost in translation.

The place was in the middle of the most vivid area of Pisa. It was easy to visit by walk Piazza dei Miracoli or to go to the train station.

The building was under construction and the main entrance was too dusty. The washing machine was placed on a difficult position to operate it with. There was a lot of noise till 02/03 AM during weekend (loud music, people shouting) in the square below the apartment.

Lovely location with great view below on the intimate courtyard. Hugely busy on festive evenings, however no problems with noise. Right in the centre of every thing you may need and all of Pisa is easy to reach by foot from here.

Kitchen could have been better equipped

Very pretty and comfortable apartment right in the center perfect distance from everything.

Location is great. Big apartment, even bigger than on the photos. Centrally located, everything is in walking distance. Nice rooms with AC. In apartment you have everything what you need. Nice renovated bathroom. Self Check in and self check out very easy and simple .

Actually everything was ok. Before I booked, I read a comments and I was little bit scared of negative comments. Everyone wrote about stairs and noise, but I didn’t find that negative. Yes, there is no elevator in the building but apartment is on second floor and not so hard to go upstairs. Can be problem for disabled people because there is no elevator. Also I found apartment not so noisy. Apartment is centrally located in one of the most visited night spots in Pisa, but it is not so noisy that you can’t sleep. People who have problems with sleeping and outside noise, I don’t recommend to book centrally located areas. For me is always important to be centrally located and noise is something that comes with that.

He offered airport pickup. So straight from airport to apartment. He showed us the apartment and made sure we were comfortable. Absolutely would stay here again and would highly recommend it. The fee for the transfer was reasonable.

Because the location was perfectly located, there was a plaza in front and behind which had loud noise till after the dinner crowd. High grade windows helped…but was not a problem for me. But be aware. Steps were step so this may not be your place if you have mobility issues
