GREEN Palace

Our second stay here and completely satisfied with the facilities, comfort, location and helpfulness of Maleeka the owner who lives here. There are 3 air conditioned Rooms with en suite and hot water (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) all with private entrances We had a spacious and comfortable room downstairs with a King size bed. Secure fencing and gates with keys to the front gate to enter without disturbing anyone late at night. This is a peaceful haven down a quiet private street that leads to a dead end; so no through traffic and away from the bustle of the city. Huge house and garden providing lots of tranquil spaces to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Only a short walk away from public transport, city shopping, fruit and veg stores and restaurants. Highly recommended for a pleasant and hassle free stay - short or long term.

Because it's a private road Google Maps doesn't recognise this address but easily fixed by putting in Golden Fresh Fish as your destination. The private road leading to the house is directly opposite to this business.

The owner texted me to cancel the reservation. He had a change of plans. We didn't get a place to live, so we had to find a new one as soon as possible

Place is very calm, quite and convenient. Noora is a lovely pet. Owner Mrs. Malika is very kind and her assistant Sasi is very supportive.

Lovely host and very comfortable and especially super clean room and bathroom. Quiet and private space however when walked towards the main road easy access to tuktuks.

The address mentioned in booking.com shows as Maharagama but it was 4-5 kms far from the place that was a bit of hassle.

Very nice garden

The place is calm, clean and relaxing. Closer to the city but no noise. And the owner Maleeka is really friendly and supportive. Also Shashi. We received nice breakfast and tea FOC.

Nothing to dislike

Hospitality of the land loard is notable, made us secure as we are at home, Ample of parking space, Large room with comfy big bed. Clean bathrooms

Smells bad hope their pets are sleeping in the room. Window in the bathroom is not blinded. Room is situated inside the landlord's residence and no seperate access to the room so had to disturb the land loard at night to open the gate or to accesa the room.

This House, also known as "Green Palace," is an exceptional place to stay. The house and rooms are very clean and well-kept, with all the amenities you could possibly need. Very friendly staff, Maleeka Aunty, is simply the best. She is friendly, helpful, and kind, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Her warm hospitality is one of the highlights of the stay. The place itself is fantastic. It's well-maintained, and you have the option to cook your own meals in the kitchen, adding a layer of convenience for longer stays. Additionally, Maleeka Aunty provides a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, which is a delightful start to the day. Whether you're traveling with family, as a couple, or solo, I would definitely recommend Green Palace. It's a perfect spot for a comfortable and enjoyable stay
