GREEN Palace

Stayed at Green Palace with my elderly parents for a week. It was a beautiful experience. Maleeka and the team was very friendly and helpful. We felt like we were at our own home 🏡 A very secure place to stay for anyone. Maleeka took every effort to keep us happy and comfortable. Her priority was not the money but to make us comfortable. “No” and “can’t “ were not in their vocabulary. Maleeka was kind enough to give us delicious and home made meals on our request. She went out of the way to find food items that we liked. Highly recommend for anyone visiting SL 😊

We got lovely hospitality and warm welcome during my short stay with my family. Mrs. Maleeka is a great host, and she prepared authentic srilankan breakfast for us.

Maleeka the land lady was very helpful and gave us lot of information with regards to travelling around Sri Lanka etc. Breakfast was great - We enjoyed freshly prepared Roti, String hoppers, curry etc by a lovely girl called Priya. Rooms were very clean, Air conditioned and spacious - Mosquito nets were there too. Beautiful & peaceful garden. House was kept clean.

There was no hot water in upstairs bathroom and pressure of water was bit low - I preferred my shower/bath with a little bit of warm water even in hot weather. Saying that, Maleeka was kind enough to boil the hot water in the kettle and bring it to the room :)

Good place, peaceful and beautiful. Very nice and friendly host. We stayed there for 7 days and it was very comfortable. It felt welcomed like if we were visiting a relative. The place is not in a Colombo city, but it takes 15-20 minutes by bus to reach a city center, taxi or tuk-tuk even less I think. There are shops and cafes close to a place. Highly recommend

Peaceful and quiet place to stay, with a beautiful garden and shaded areas. The room was very spacious and facilities were very clean. Great host, very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional 👌.

I have stayed in Green Palace with my husband during our last vacation in Sri Lanka and it was such a nice stay! Mrs. Maleeka Muthumala, the host, is a super friendly and kind lady. She always made an extra effort to make us feel that we are living in our own home. She offered us delicious breakfast, evening teas and snacks everyday. Some days she even provided us dinner for a very reasonable price. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The surrounding was very calm and quiet. We love everything there!! We will visit next time for sure!😍❤️

This House (Green Palace) is very clean and well-kept. the house and room have all amenities required. MALEEKA is the best hostess, friendly, helpful and kind. we like the place so much and will be visiting her before leaving the country. Maleeka Aunty provide us a delicious sri lankan breakfast. even you can cook your meals in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this place for families couples and solo Travelers. THANK YOU BOKING.COM you have a gem in your books. we were lucky to find it. 💙
