Kenton House

Perfect apartment for a 4 day break after 5 months of travelling/sight seeing, staying in hostels/hotel rooms/homestays. Privacy, my own space, everything I needed to recharge and plan my onward trip. Good WiFi, air conditioning and powerful shower. Kitchenette basic but enough to prepare snacks/drinks during the day and close enough location to walk to the excellent night market for evening meals. I loved having a TV with Netflix, and was a complete couch potato! And, never thought I would say this, it was a treat to be able to iron my clothes!

On a road junction which could get a bit noisy… but then you could turn the volume up on the TV!

Everything in the property was wonderful. Cold AC during the hot summer days and conveniently located to many eateries. The host was amazing and was very responsive to our needs. The bed was extremely comfortable. We left for a wedding for a night and couldn’t wait to get back to our comfy room! The host let us keep our same room and kept our luggage safe. We will definitely be back. This is a must stay when in Savanhakhet.

Big TV with Netflix, bed comfy, equipped kitchen and the laundry machine. Host very friendly, easy communication and a source of local information.

The apartment is very clean and spacious and has everything you need. You can rent a bike which makes it easy to reach everything. Some reviews mentioned it being noisy, but it’s really just the odd weekend night but that’s Laos 😄 Most evenings were super quiet. Hosts were wonderful and even lent me a laptop when mine broke!
