Location!!

Onsen - hot springs only open from 4:30 to 11 pm. My only complaint.

スタッフの方がとーっても親切で、楽しく過ごせました。 可愛いワンちゃんと遊ばせてもらい、すこしシャイな猫ちゃんたちも可愛かったです。 また志賀高原にくることがあったら絶対こちらに泊まりたいです💗 尚、タオルは無料で人数分用意がありました。 浴衣はないのでパジャマは持っていく必要があります。 コップや歯ブラシもフロントに用意があります。 お部屋は広くて、暖かく快適でした。 大浴場もお湯があつめで、リラックスできました。 オーナーさん、温かいおもてなしありがとうございました！

おトイレの座席が冷たいことだけがマイナスですが、値段や便利なロケーションを考えると、全然目をつぶれるポイントでした。

Extremely lovely owners who looked after us brilliantly, even buying European plug adaptors for us so we could keep our tooth brushes charged! Traditional big rooms with sink and loo and a great Onsen for washing and relaxing muscles after a hard days skiing.

The hotel is a little dated, but that’s just something to get over after the glitz of Tokyo!

Food, both breakfast and dinner was amazing and very healthy being Japanese. Ski lift at rear of hotel which was very convenient. Great location. The family who ran the place were great.

Ichinose is very quiet in the evening which might not suit some people.

The staff was amazing! The stay was nice and cozy, and we had everything we needed(: we loved the atmosphere created by the host/hostess! We stayed in traditional style rooms with tatami mats but there is option for western style room as well as both! Shared bath women separate from men. Which is nice because you get to experience more Japanese culture. There’s even lux brand shampoo/body wash (shiseido)! Every room has its own toilet but each floor has bidet bathrooms w heated seats!

What could have made this stay better was maybe coffee maker in the lobby so we didn’t have to buy every morning. Maybe option for some American things at breakfast like fruit or granola/cereral. Americans love to eat so I think this would have just been a touch that would appeal to that group(:
