The view was absolutely beautiful, and the cottage had everything we needed, including a braai facility already prepared with charcoal/wood.

There was no drying up cloth in the kitchen. Other than that, no complaints.

Heerlijk die rust en ruimte

Het is een prachtige locatie, grote kamers, goeie braai die klaar gemaakt was en een vriendelijke gastheer/personeel.

De hygiëne kon wat ons betreft beter, ook het zwembad zag er niet schoon uit. Hierdoor hebben wij er geen gebruik van gemaakt. Dit staat in de omschrijving dus niks wat je niet van tevoren kan weten maar houd er rekening mee dat er geen airco is. Bij ons was het heel warm buiten dus moeilijk koel te krijgen binnen.

Comfortabel

Het was een beetje versleten en heeft wat onderhoud nodig.

Tolle Lage und Aussicht auf das umliegende Gebiet. Die Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet und bietet auf den ersten Blick einen malerischen Anblick. Außerdem hat der Besitzer den Grill für Braai vorbereitet, was sehr nett war.

Leider war die Unterkunft sehr abgewohnt. Gleich beim Betreten der Suite kam einem ein unangenehmer, muffig, modriger Geruch entgegen. Außerdem war die Unterkunft nicht sehr sauber. Der Boden hätte eine dringende Reinigung benötigt, wenn man im Schlafzimmer die Lampe anmachte, sah man die toten Insekten darin. Die Möbel waren sehr abgewohnt und fielen teilweise auseinander. Die Liegen im Garten waren teilweise sehr stark mit Vogelkot verschmutzt und auch im Pool schwammen viele Fremdkörper herum.

We were welcomed with a warm and friendly reception, which immediately made us feel at home. The fresh milk, coffee, and tea were a lovely and thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. The venue itself is beautiful, with tastefully furnished and spacious rooms. The private outdoor areas added to the comfort and homely feel of the stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back and for longer.

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate the overall experience. There are just a few small things we wanted to mention that may help improve the venue for future guests: The TV in our room was unfortunately not working properly (black and white picture, and the DStv and DVD player did not work). Luckily, we had a second room and could use the TV there. The dogs at the chalet below the pool barked quite a bit, which was a bit disruptive at times, especially given how peaceful the property is. The toilet pipes were quite noisy after flushing and may need some attention. We share this purely as constructive feedback and hope it helps. Thank you again for hosting us
