Hotel Ganges Grand - 600m from Kashi Vishwanath Temple

I loved the location. Near to Dashashwamedh Ghat. Staffs were helpful. Food service was fast and good.

The Indian government had issued sim cards for Nepali citizens but every sim card distributors refused to provide it easily. Had to choose other way out with the help of their staff paying extra penny.

It was quite conveniently located to the Kashi temple

The rooms were quite ordinary. Although we paid for the most expensive rooms in the hotel, they were just about okay

Cost and Next day Extension value is little high.

Hotel Location is very good in a central chowk. Close proximity to Kashi Vishvanath temple. Courteous and helpful staff. Breakfast Buffett was good.

Quite pricey for the facilities and room decor it provides. Hotel misled that Kashi Vishwanath is 2-3 minutes away. It can be with 3 wheeler auto, but gate number 4 is quite far away by walk.

The location was the best thing for this hotel. Right in the middle of all the tourist spots. The staff was very helpful and was able to meet all our needs. The food at the restaurant was also good. I feel if the hotel had added some dishes which are peculiar and famous for Varanasi it would have been very good. The cleanliness of the room and the bathroom was good. Hot water was available in the bathroom.

Two out of four rooms which we had booked had no windows.

Good location, just on the edge of the old town, ca 10 min of walking to the Ghats and temple(s) and the evening processions. Restaurant in the same building, very convenient for the lunch or dinner. A hotel which is something in between the western style and traditional local style accommodation. You have to organise someone to help you if you have lot of luggage, the street is not accessible for cars. WiFi and breakfast OK.
