It's a comfortable house and great for star gazing at night and taking walks during the day on the bush trails. The breakfast was amazing and cooked fresh which I wasn't suspecting.

The location can be a bit misleading because it is nowhere near the main Raptor's Lodge estate in Hoedspruit, and you don't find this out until you book and pick up the keys. The Protrack guard station where you pick up the keys had a very difficult time explaining where the farmhouse was located. I would suggest improving on this and simply telling people it's in the same location as the Thirsty Giraffe. Google Maps will do the rest. However, the Protrack guard insisted on showing us in person, and had us chasing our tails because he had clearly been drinking. Once we finally arrived, we had to reach out to the farmhouse mgt to find the WiFi password. I also suggest keeping this in plain sight or in a welcome package. The only other issue was the showers. The showers are spacious and the water is hot, but it's a full open floor plan in the main rooms, including the toilet, so better be comfortable with the people you are sharing a room with. Unfortunately, the rooms give off a musty smell after a shower because of the condensation and running the A/C is the only way to try and correct, which I prefer to avoid.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Very safe, clean, and comfortable. Beautiful furnished patio. Friendly farm animals and impala visiting. Tranquillity. There's a restaurant on the farm. Very good location for exploring the area. Excellent breakfast prepared every morning for the guests. Highly recommended. On my favorite list. Enjoy!
