Great location, right next to a good gym, friendly helpful staff.

The hostels in Almaty charge more if you reserve in advance. The last hostel I stayed offered me a discount or a refund when I asked but because it had no air conditioning so I moved here. But they do the same thing and they did not offer me a discount.
