The location is ideal - a quick walk to Voelklip beach and very close to Blue Flag Grotto beach. It was a perfect choice with two small kids

Didn’t feel clean and the whole place seemed tired and in desperate need of refreshing and updating. Also don’t be kidded the view is not a corner of a house opposite but the complete half built property which totally obstructs your view of the sea 🫩

Нам очень понравилось это местечко! Уютно, все необходимое есть, для деток чудесные игрушки и книжки, для посиделок во дворе и у океана, есть все, что нужно, все с заботой. Приветливая хозяйка, удобные кровати, подушки, что для меня является важным пунктом. Вся необходимая посуда есть) свечи для уюта. Очень рекомендую домик для проживания! Спасибо за гостеприимство!

La maison est très bien placée, à deux pas de la plage, du sentier de randonnée et deux restaurants. La maison était très agréable : confort, lumineuse...

Beautiful ly decorated house.So tasteful. Everything about the furnishings and kitchen equipment,dinner service etc was first class.Towels fluffy,bedding perfect. Lettie was there to greet us and let us in when we locked ourselves out the first night.!She was always at the end of the phone. TV was great.Close to beach. We met with Johann and his charming wife for a drink on our way here.Lovely warm people. I requested 2 reclining chairs and they were delivered within a day or two,Above and beyond! I

The only slight downside is that the kitchen is a bit dark, being under the upstairs balcony. But not a big deal.

Good location, near the beach and restaurants, easy access to the main roads to tour more broadly. Host was wonderful and the place kid friendly with a few toys to keep a toddler grandson amused.

We did self catering and the location is excellent

Casa Familia is a very well equipped holiday home which can sleep up to 7 people but which we very comfortably used with three adults. The whole place is 80s style but nice and friendly and the electrical equipment (kitchen, TV, internet) is state of the art. The two bathrooms aren't en-suite but adjacent to the two main bedrooms and have both daylight. The location is outstanding - one can hardly get closer to the beaches. With today's daily power cuts in South Africa (the so called 'load shedding'), another very important advantage of Casa Familia is that it has its own independent power supply (via solar panels) so that one has 24/7 internet and electric power in the house. Contact with the very friendly owner was always easy and fast. Regarding check-out time, the owner was very accomodating and gave us extra hours to vacate the place.

No complaints - all was as expected or better.
