Koversada Camping Resort

Die Insel und der alte Teil des Camping mit der ursprünglichen Vegetation ist wunderschön und bietet viel Space und Schatten, türkis Wasser, grosse Spielflächen, Wiesen, äusserst abwechslungsreich und viele einladende Plätzchen. Das Safari-Zelt bietet für Naturliebhaber:innen einen wunderbar entspannten Aufenthalt mit allem Nötigem. Einzig die Bettqualität ist für den Preis nicht angemessen und neuere, hochwertigere Matratzen dringend nötig. Die vielseitigen Strandabschnitte, die ursprüngliche Natur und die Weite des Camping sind ein grosses Plus. Zudem versch. schöne Kaffees und Restaurants, stilvoll mit grandioser Aussicht und gutem Essen. Dem neuen südlichen Teil fielen leider viele alte Bäume zum Opfer und er kommt etwas steril daher. Es ist sehr zu hoffen, dass diese Entwicklung nicht auf Insel weitergeht, denn das Aussergewöhnliche am Camping ist genau die Natur und dass nicht eng parzelliert ist und Insel sehr wenig fixe Infrastruktur hat. Wenn dies so belassen wird, können wir Aufenthalt zu 100% empfehlen.

Alte Matratzen und generell Bettqualität. Beim neuen Teil wurde zu wenig umsichtig mit dem alten Baumbestand umgegangen, zu schickimicki und steril.

We loved the island—the nature, the panoramic view from the tent, the location, and the tent’s structure. The people were very nice as well, and there was a wonderful sense of freedom and tranquility.

It should be clearly mentioned that there is NO water in the kitchen. It would be great if there were more water points around the island—just like the many fire extinguishers (which are very reassuring!). The tent could have been cleaner—especially under the beds and in the corners, where we found many ants.

- instead of one large bin, I recommend several smaller bins to allow convenient sorting of waste

Needs a chopping board and salad spinner.
