The Milligan Guest House

Sharon and Lennox are the lovely owners and managers. They’re developing a lovely property in a lovely position overlooking the wild beaches of the east coast, and doing a fabulous job of it. Great communication with Sharon throughout the run up to the booking and right though. Lovely welcome, great local cuisine dinner and breakfast. Comfortable room with great view and large bed and bathroom. All very clean and tasteful.

It’s a slow bumpy road off the main drag to get to the property, and Debbie, our driver, was extremely cautious so it took a long time to get there even though it’s only a kilometre down the hill. The property is not in the middle of a lot of land and protected by trees so you can see other houses next door but they are developing the garden and a pool and bar in the front of the house facing the sea which will be great and more intimate

Everything. The people the location and view, the food and quality of accommodation. Sharon and Lennox could not have done anything more to make us feel welcome and at home, excellent hosts, attentive but not intrusive. We only stayed the one night but would have been happy to have been able to stay longer. We arrived from the airport late afternoon and could not have picked a more relaxing place to stay. The food was exceptional and a good reintroduction to flavours of the Caribbean. Very sorry to leave when we travelled on to another island the next day, definitely one to remember.

Sharon and Lennox were amazing hosts and lovely people. They could not have done more for us. We loved the traditional caribbean cusine and really appreciated the location, away from town and the tourist drag. Whilst that might not be for everyone, for us it was an amazing place to start and and finish our visit to SVG (note this review will be duplicated on the other booking as well) They provided fantastic advice on how to get the most out of trip to SVG including some amazing one off recommendations for locations to visit on St Vincent. We are convinced we would not have found or thought to see if we had not met them. We really appreciated the boutique BnB feel they have created and the added dinner to breakfast is great.

Our stay at the Milligan was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped out of the airport where we were welcomed by the driver of the hotel, throughout the entire stay, we felt like valued guests. Sharon and Lennox were not just professional but incredibly kind and fun. The hotel has a nice Caribbean air, including a garden and a terrace that offers a stunning view of the beach. Comfortable and cozy rooms, delicious breakfasts and dinners with traditional dishes and local ingredients cooked by the hosts - the warmth of this place was unmatched. What also set this hotel apart, was the dedication to providing a local experience. Sharon and Lennox's guidance and recommendations led us to many hidden gems and hikes, to the best rum punch in St Vincent, and to local eateries and clubs that we would have otherwise missed and that truly showcased the heart and soul of St Vincent.

Lack of easy access to transportation. Rough road.

It was all fabulous, whether you're staying here for 1 night or 1 week it is the perfect setting with the most wonderful hosts. Sharon & Lennox couldn't do enough for us. Their food & hospitality is outstanding, we are already considering adding another stop over here at the end of our trip.

The breakfast was very good with an excellent layout, there was flexibility in the serving time. We also enjoy fresh local fruits available. They was much planning in providing a mixture of local and continental breakfast
