The Milligan Guest House

It was beautiful. The view of the ocean and the beach was amazing. There was a wonderful breeze the cooled everything down. The food was excellent. Sharon and Lennox were excellent host. We spent the evening talking. They were so interesting and engaging.

Nothing. It doesn’t have ac but the constant breeze was very comfortable.

Sharon and Lenox were marvellous hosts providing a delicious dinner and breakfast. The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Despite no AC, the constant breeze was sufficient for a very comfortable night. Also, we visited the local beach at Brighton Salt Pond which was beautiful and made for a truly authentic Caribbean experience.

The location is somewhat off the beaten track without a paved road, so aside from the beach, there is not much else around. That said, it made for a bit of an adventure locating the hotel and were rewarded with wonderful hospitality and a wonderfully calm and tranquil stay

This was more an experience than an accommodation. We felt like in heaven with the owners cooking just for us. We chose to eat local food and got a great variety of dishes. The rooms are spacious, clean, well ventilated and beautiful. Astonishing views of Brighton bay. Sharon and Lennox are the ideal hosts as they give you the attention you need.

The food was so good, that we did not manage to make one picture of it before having a bite.

The Owners were so helpful and friendly and provided some great local knowledge and took us to the local beach which had great facilities. A truly fab experience. Breakfast and evening meals were so tasty!

Spotlessly clean, spacious room with lots of light and the most comfortable bed of our whole trip. Sharon arranged our taxi from the airport, and after a little time to get settled we were treated to welcome drinks and a beautiful home cooked meal. The pictures really don't do this place justice. It's in a peaceful and safe location, only 10 minutes walk from Brighton beach. Breakfast was great with the opportunity to try local specialties, Lennox gave recipes and showed me what to buy in the market to recreate them. If we go back to St Vincent the Milligan will be our first choice.

It was wonderful talking with Sharon, and Lennus was an attentive chef, cooking local food as requested. His homemade bread, Pina colada, smoothies and grilled pork were especially excellent. The view of the sea was lovely. It was located far from the regular tourist locations, so was quiet, and a good place to relax and unwind. The road to get there was sometimes quite rough and rocky. We had a nice walk to Brighton Beach (black sand.) The hosts made certain we knew the way by walking with us for part of the way.
