Mekong Hotel

Good location, ok value despite flaws.

Reception use a poor exchange rate from dollar to kip, ended up paying in dollars to avoid this. There was nowhere secure offered to store luggage for a few hours on check out. There were broken floor tiles, not secured.

Nothing! This is the worst hotel!

Everything! The room smelt bad, it was dirty, there were lots of mosquitoes in the room. The bedding was dirty and stained and smelt awful. I booked a deluxe double with tea and coffee, but we were given a twin and no tea/coffee. The breakfast was rubbish! The toilet was dirty. It was loud and echoed in the hallway. There was only a window in the bathroom which let in loads of light, and shutting the bathroom door didn't help as it was glass! Do not stay in this hotel!

The room at first night they gave us wrong room and the manager was not interested in compensating anything for money that we paid for the first room had loose tiles that could have cut our feet television didn't work fridge as well

No mirror in the bathroom. Didn't take US$'s Needs to be refurbished.

Cause I have a car, so a very large area in front of the hotel is safety packing is a good point. Next, the hotel is on the riverside. A good place. I love it.

location. wide rooms. it’s clean but a bit old ( flacking paintings. old cupboard,damaged) nice view on the Mekong. fridge available in the room.

Nice staff despite they don’t speak English. pity they don’t have a Laudry service attached. maybe a little bit too expensive because you feel it’s not really uptodate and maintained.

Funny how bad it is. So, an enjoyable experience. Location is perfect - just hasn't been fixed up since it was built.

Was given keys to an unmade room. Price is unacceptable for what you get. Old, filthy.
