Hotel Awaken

What a great place to stay! Rooms are super new and very clean, great bathroom too! Breakfast was amazing and the owners are sooo friendly and helping! We really enjoyed our stay here and can recommend the hotel to everyone! Thanks for the great time!

This was our best homestay of the trip, Asanka and his family are lovely and they do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Asanka drove us to all the spots we wanted to visit for a very good price. The food was delicious and the rooms are new and very clean. We are looking forward to coming back on our next trip in Sri Lanka!

Recently built and to a high standard. Our room was more than adequate and was spotless. The owner, Asanka, and his family are very welcoming and have a tuk tuk that is available for transport to the various sightseeing spots. The main street is an easy walk away for cafes and supplies. Breakfasts are delicious and are huge. Dinner is also available and should not be missed.

We are very grateful to our host Asanka and his family. This was one of the best stays I had in my life. They were very welcoming and I really felt like at home. They helped with everything we needed. Regarding the rooms they were spotless clean. Everything is brand new. I hope to come back someday!

High standard in a peaceful, middle-class area. You can dine in or a 10mins walk off the right of the main road to find places to eat and a supermarket. AND, the owner drive tuk-tuk to take you to important sites for a reasonable charge.

Very clean and new. Very nice bed and pillows. Comfortable. Modern and big. The host was amazing and helpful and easy to deal with. I would definitely stay here again if I come back. Location is Great, and food was good. And on top the price was very good.

Only thing I did like was the bad WiFi. It works sometimes but most of the time it doesn’t. I hope they manage to fix it.

Very honored to have had the possibility to stay at the residence of Asankas Family! Very lovely and helpful people! I adored their breakfasts (+ dinners!) You won’t regret it one bit!!

The food and services were excellent, as the host and his family were very respectful and responded quickly to our requests, helping us promptly. We got good advices and had good conversations with the host, we understood the culture a bit better and we rested in a nice, comfortable space. It is definitely offering a lot for the price, the stay was pleasant and close to Dambulla's centre.
