Snow Horizon

We are travelling with a small child and both owners, Olivier and Reika, have been so incredibly accomodating and friendly. They have gone above and beyond during our stay and we are so incredibly thankful to have found this gem in the heart of Hakuba. Reika and Olivier have given us so many local tips during our stay which has been very handy. The accomodation is brand new, modern, cooking facilities are easy to use and very good quality, bedding is top quality latex with warm duvet + great pillows. I really like the decor from the exposed timber beams and white walls, high ceilings, art work displayed and the modern easy to use fire place. There is also lots of natural light coming and we can see outside from every angle of the house. We are surrounded by snowfields, it’s about a 10 minute walk to Rhythm Hakuba to hire snow gear, about a 5-10 minute walk to the Happo-One bus stop which is surrounded by little cafes, restaurants, souvenir shop and Onsen. Highly recommend Snow Horizon to anyone wanting a sleek and modern, down to earth, family friendly place to stay in Hakuba. We hope to come back as soon as we can!

We came to Hakuba to ski with friends and chose this B&B. What an unexpected surprise: First of all, the new facilities in the room are very complete. I love the big stove in the living room, which is a perfect match for the snow country! Kitchen utensils and living equipment are all available, suitable for private kitchens for Chinese and Western food gatherings. The owner is a very funny, warm and thoughtful French gentleman. We rented three bedrooms and one living room on the first floor. We will definitely rent the whole building next time to come with our friends. Thank you to the owners for providing us with a comfortable and enjoyable Christmas vacation!
