Everything in the property was super excellent amazing wonderful 1) the pool was very nice 2) the breakfast was excellent 3) The whole staff the manager Gihan and Suba were amazing Gihan did extra miles to make our stay wonderful 4) the hotel location is very good close and walking distance to the live an active street full of shops cafes and restaurants 5) the hotel decoration color theme and facilities are wonderful I highly recommend anyone who is coming to Unawaruna to Stay at Thapronan Waves Hotel You will really enjoy your stay in all aspects

Everything was WONDERFUL

Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, common areas decorated very nicely, lots of space and seating areas, great pools and amazing scenery

Nothing - loved everything

We returned after 6 years to find the friendly and accommodating staff most welcoming. The service was brilliant with such genuine care and warmth. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The location is also perfect.

Some areas are looking a little tired but it is situated by the sea.

The hotel is ina quiet part of Unawatuna. You wake to the sound of the waves. Peacocks and moneys are all around. The pool is lovely and restaurant has good food/ drinks and service. The reception staff were fabulous and took care of all my needs.

So smelly toilets

Friendly staff, they set up my room for the honeymoon well. nice pool. great view of the ocean. good location, walking distance from the beaches and shops/restaurants.

Breakfast could have been better. elevator had regular problems which they were trying to fix.
