Not value for money. Amenities not maintained.Room was ok. But not maintained.

A unique property in the middle of the Thekkady tiger reserve. The staff are very helpful, and a small tip goes a long way. The rooms and the toilets are very clean. However, we experienced teething maintenance issues, possibly due to the age of the property. It was quickly fixed, though. You can bring your own beer and alcohol and use the mini fridge to keep them cool. At night, you'd get a deer and a few other animals who visit the property as they get fed.. consider it a show. You can go nature walking and boating from here at extra cost.

The food options in the restaurant, especially for the dinner, is limited and is expensive for what it is. Because you're not allowed to go out of the forest in the evening. You have no other options other than cough up the cash. No air-conditioning, even in premium rooms. Although it's OK in the night, during day, air-conditioning would help.
