Invivo Hotel

The staff was friendly and very welcoming. He made sure to give me cold water for all the summer heat despite having stocked the room with bottles of water already. He also called a taxi for me when I was leaving for the bus station. He made sure the taxi had card payment and also was not a scam or rip off like some of the ones I've experienced in other parts of Türkiye. The location was good for the nightlife of Izmir. It was also close to the pier, so it made for a nice walk on a summer evening. It's a bit of a long walk from the touristy parts of Izmir that lots of people know, such as the historical elevator. The breakfast was also good. It was satisfactorily clean. For me, a highlight was that the temperature of the shower was easy to control, and the pressure was perfect.

The facility seemed a bit old. It was quite noticeable in the bathroom and sinks. The air conditioner was dripping some water. I realised at late at night, so I only complained in the morning while checking out, and he promised to work on it. So hopefully it won't be a problem at all. Also, since I shared a bathroom window with an adjoining room, there was some smoke permeating into my room despite shutting the windows that led outside. It's not the fault of the hotel but definitely something to look out for if you're a non-smoker.

The location is very good and the stuff is great, they are very nice people.

When I arrived my room had a electric problem, but then they solve it.

Excellent location. There are izban and ferry stations nearby. The staff was wonderful. Good breakfast.

Slow internet

The hotel may not look inviting upon entry, but the owner and his family are. The rooms are nice and right at the center of the nightlife district. I really enjoyed it after a few days. Very kind people and a great location.

The entrance looks dark and you wonder where you ended up in. Yet the people are very kind.
