Aloka Penida

Review in English: The villas are located in a beautiful spot on the hotel grounds. From the property, you can enjoy views of one of Nusa Penida's main attractions—the Thousand Islands—and watch stunning sunrises. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

However, there are a few downsides. The hotel is not easy to reach, as the road is quite difficult, especially for a car. Inside our cottage, there was no fridge, kettle, hairdryer, cups, or spoons. Essentially, the basic facilities were missing.

Amazing views, amazing staff and nice comfortable room. So relaxing. Thanks Eric and Ronal for taking care of us. We’ll be back for sure… once you get a pool.. and fridge in the rooms. All in all amazing location. Look forward to seeing you all again soon 🙏🙏🙏🥳

Best views on the island id say😎 The staff here also make this stay feel like home, I miss the sunrise & sunsets… The food is also exceptionally good, come for breakfast/lunch/dinner if you can’t stay😋

This place is a hidden paradise. The view from the reception is just breathtaking, worth waking up and catching sunrise. The view from there is better than the public views around the area hands down! Not many flats (maybe 4) which meant extra privacy in such a place. The road to the place was indeed bumpy but nothing as crazy as we read from some comment here! Not much happening outside but we knew this area was more for relax than anything else. Located on a 30 min walk to Diamond or Atuh beach, google maps says much longer but our taxi driver was able to show us a short cut through the fields. We then got lost but a field worker kindly helped us finding our way around !! Very adventurous to walk if you don’t drive cars or scooters but still turned out to be fun for us! Unfortunately I got sick whilst being there , but the staff was so accommodating in postponing by an hour our check out and offering me some coconut (which is great if u have a bali belly). Easy to arrange a taxi with them that came pick us up at the harbour and even brought us to our next hotel on our last day for fair prize. Monkeys around , but are rather peaceful (nothing in compare to the crazy ones you’ll find in Ubud Forest) those don’t go after you, your room and your food at all! Filippo and Mika

I found the room air ventilation a bit poor, just a small window and the main door,(which most of the time we kept close to avoid animals access) but probably my perception was much stronger since I was starting to feel sick whilst we stayed there.

The view from the restaurant terrace was really beautiful. The rooms are big, aircon worked well and the bed was comfortable.

Overall, I felt we paid to much for what we received. Unfortunately, when ordering a burger for lunch we received stale, burnt and moldy bread with parts cut away and an inedible chicken patty. The price of the food is extremely high and the property is very isolated, no shop nearby or place to keep cold drinks, everything needs to be ordered through the restaurant. We used the recommended transport service, however the drivers were not on time and we waited 5 hours for a scooter. The road to the property is very bumpy and narrow in parts, only recommended for an experience scooter driver.

I like the view and restaurant food great food, nice rooms only issue is how to reach the place but if you are planning to stay there and relax it is perfect.

Get out from there is hard by walk, recommend improve the walk way or roads, create easy acces to reach easisly to the place.

It’s a brand new place. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is simply perfect. We stayed for one night and enjoyed every minute of it. Would definitely recommend it.

The road to the property is challenging but doable (we travelled by bike). They’ve done a great job with the signs so it’s easy to find the place.
