AUThe location was excellent in the medina, close to the Kasbah. A very steep way up from the Kasbah square. The guest house was quaint and original with unique features. It felt like a cool cave in the hot days when we were in Chefchaouen. It was comfortable, though a bit small for 2 people. There was a roof terrace with a great view of the city
It took nearly an hour after arriving at the city gate to find our way. Finally someone came to meet us after a few phone calls. The guest house was in a narrow laneway with no marking or name on the building. Very hard to find. The bathroom was functional but tiny. We were given the wrong password for wifi and for 2 days we could not use the internet. This made our ongoing travel difficult.
GRThe apartment is really great. We could stay for days there. Wifi was also fast.
They have forgotten to leave towels for us, so this was a big problem. We asked directly and the reply was on the next day saying that they haven't read our message.

They didn't speak any english or french, thus communication was problematic. They never cleaned or pick up the garbage during the 6 days I was there. They refused to arrange a taxi for me when I was leaving. The house was cold & humid without any heating. Finally, it was at the village's highest point, therefore there were a lot of slippery stairs to climb. This wasn't clearly mentioned in the description, as it should, since it could be very difficult for some people.
IEI loved this house 🥰 Everything like in photos. Love this style! There is everything you need for comfortable stay. Can cook some meal, hot water all time, comfortable bed, and lots warm blankets if colder on December. And the view from roof top terrace, was exceptional. Over the all Chefchauen and mountains! We enjoyed atay with beautiful sunrise and sunset ❤️ Hosts very helpful and welcoming!
