Sobasee Holiday Bungalow

We had a great stay in this spacious apartment, which had everything we needed, including a fridge and kettle. The view from the kitchen was beautiful. The apartment offers excellent value for money, and the location is ideal. There are grocery shops, a bakeries, and several restaurants nearby. It’s also just a 15-minute walk from the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and the lake. The host was very helpful and provided good restaurant recommendations.

The only minor issue was that Google Maps initially directed us to a nearby location instead of the correct address. Fortunately, our driver contacted the host, who guided us to the apartment without any trouble.

Sehr schöne Wohnung gegenüber vom Kandy Club. In 10 - 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Stadt und am Zahntempel. Sehr netter Vermieter und angenehme Umgebung.

Great location, close to the lake and city centre.

Très belle surprise en découvrant cet appartement près du centre très bien entretenu. Propriétaires très serviable. Parfait pour une famille.

La localisation était très bonne , près de restaurants très bon , un supermarché , le lac , le temple sans oublier le Kandy lake club avec son spectacle de danse traditionnelle ! Nous avons aussi pu voir un match de Cricket , sport emblématique ici ! Très belle ambiance ! Je termine par la gentillesse de Lakmal et sa femme , très gentils et attentionnés !

Such a lovely couple who owns the apartment . They couldn't do enough for us. Because the train was disrupted due to the floods, the host arranged a taxi to pick us up from the station. We always had a wave and a smile. We loved our stay

Petit appartement cosy et situé dans les hauteurs un peu à l'écart de la ville. On s'y sens bien et le cadre est agréable. Nous avons vraiment apprécié séjourné ici. Je pense même qu'il s'agissait de notre meilleure location pour un prix plus que démocratique.

The place was really nice, it's a cozy two storied apartment, the downstairs was the seating area and upstairs was the rooms and the kitchen area. The view from the accommodation is to die for! And the hosts are so polite and helpful. They arranged an early check in for us even though they were really tight scheduled. They helped us with everything we needed. I really recommend this place if you want a cozy whole apartment for yourselves.

There weren't any such things we didn't like about the place.

Большой дом, хороший ремонт, чисто, кухня полностью укомплектованна, горячая вода есть. До храма Зуба Будды 15 минут пешком.

Все началось с того, что мы еще не приехали, как хозяин сего дома выносил нам мозг своей навязчивостью и кучей вопросов. Особенно про время выезда, спрашивал несколько раз, аргументируя тем, что в 12 будет заезжать новые гости из Индии. Хотя когда мы его спрашивали, про заселиться на пол часа раньше, чем 14:00, нам было отказано, ок указано такое время, но видимо не для гостей из Индии! Подъехав к дому, пришлось ходить по соседям и спрашивать где дом, ожидая пока хозяин соизволит нас встретить. В итоге прождали возле калитки 20 минут, пока он не додумался попросить своего сыночка выйти из дома и встретить нас. Гостеприимство так себе. Далее одно из полотенец было плохое, оно не впитывало влагу, так как синтетика, подруга ходила вся мокрая, вытиралась в итоге простынью. В день нашего отъезда когда он начал выносить мозг по смс с временем отъезда, а после началось самое интересное. Он прислал сообщение с просьбой разрешить ему аннулировать бронь, аргументируя это тем, что он заплатить комиссию букингу. И попросил подтвердить букингу, что мы не заселялись. Мы согласились, но дальше он продолжил спрашивать нас про отъезд, так как стафф уже пришла в 10:40, хотя мы согласовали выезд как заявлено в правилах, но видимо он так хотел нас выселить раньше, что пришлось идти на принцип и выехать ровно в 11:00. Итог: хозяин нудный до ужаса, жена хозяина адекватная, сын странный, с соседского деда европейца поржали (он сказал: проваливайте от сюда, когда спросили у него где нужный дом)
