Villa Quince

Great location and hosts. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of outdoor spaces, both private and shared. Nice modestly sized pool. We had lots of options in terms activities (hikes) and all food provided was great. All of our requests were accommodated. All in all, had a great experience and would stay again!

What an amazing stay! Villa Quince is in such a beautiful location in the Atlas Mountains, close to Marrakech but right in the High Atlas so perfect for walkers. Noor, Mona and Philip were so welcoming, generous, and helpful, we felt right at home and they made us super comfortable. The villa is beautiful - we had a gorgeous big room with a small private terrace. Everything was well maintained and so tranquil, a beautiful place to spend non-walking days. The place is small with just four rooms, which meant it felt really intimate and we got to meet new people visiting the villa, which we really enjoyed. I highly recommend having a homemade meal made by Mona - delicious Moroccan food (and kindly catered to my dietary requirements). They were a highlight - as were the generous breakfasts underneath the olive tree. They organised four walks for us with the guide Mohammed, who is an absolute expert on walking and running in the mountains, and took us to villages in the mountains, beautiful waterfalls and right up to a peak. Highly recommended for a visit to the mountains and to meet locals and learn more about the area. If you love the mountains, the outdoors, and want a home away from home, this is the place to be. We absolutely loved it and will be back!

We like the open contemporary Marrakesh rustic design of the property and the lush courtyard greenery. Quince trees dot the property and are beautiful. The room is big enough for a couple. The family owners, Philip, Mona and especially Noor, are delightful and gracious hosts. The airconditioning is good; important in the summer heat!

The Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in some areas of the villa, especially outdoors.

Villa Quince is such an idyllic place in the Atlas mountains. We felt home the moment we arrived. The whole facility is made with a lot of care, love and high quality design - while being integrated in nature. Our room itself was big, bright and beautifully made. My partner did the summit hike which was offered by the accommodation - highly recommended. Noor (the host) was always available whenever we had questions. We stayed for three nights and had dinner all evenings. The food on the first evenings was amazing - super tasty. Also - the hosts organized a yummy birthday cake for my partner after I asked for it. All in all: Great experience!

The only small downside for us was the included breakfast: it was quite basic and the portions rather small. To add some variety, we brought our own fruit, avocado, and vegetables. Unfortunately, there was little flexibility from the host when we asked for a bit more—such as extra eggs or Amlou (Moroccan almond butter)—which felt a bit discouraging. Similarly, our final dinner felt quite modest considering the price. Only after requesting some additional variety were we offered more, although the response from the host seemed somewhat reluctant.
