Secret Villa

Very secluded and in the nature.

Early wake up call by the roosters and other animals meaning at 5am you are starting to wake up with the sunrise.

It’s very remote and located in the beautiful garden. The food is very tasty and it is prepared from fresh ingredients from the garden. Room itself was amazing, we were lucky ang got upgraded to the bigger apartment with an excellent view. Owner was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place very much.

The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly helpful. One of the biggest highlights was the secluded location—peaceful and with very few people around. The view from the premium room was absolutely breathtaking.

The only downside is that getting back from the beach requires walking up a steep hill, so a decent level of fitness is needed.

I loved the staff, the entire place is just perfect for connecting with nature and disconnecting from the world.

It’s like staying in the middle of the jungle treetops. Absolutely fantastic! Especially staying in the open rooms like Sinbad! It comes with all of the jungle one should have in mind. The sounds, early light and warm breeze comes with the package which add to the charm😉

It’s a 100 meters above sea level so after beach includes a steep walk but you also get the view and ambiance afterwards so not really complaining. Good food but a bit repetitive if you’re staying more than two nights.

Fantastic location, very kind staff. The accommodation is very special. Excellent food. Beautiful garden.

L’atmosfera, la vista e lo staff

The place is uniquely located in the heart of the island. The villas are at open air keeping you very in touch with nature. The area of the villa hosts the secret garden with several animals rescued during years (such a giant bat and big turtles) and with two amazing view points to have a 360 degrees perspective of La Digue surroundings. Gerard is a great host always able to give fantastic tips to discover the unconventional La Digue. The staff is very nice and the food was AMAZING!

Not an issue for us (family with 2 teenagers) but the road to reach the villa is super steep. So, probably not so convenient for very old or very young people, unless you always use a transfer.
