Secret Villa

Very nice design of the place, feels as if you are on an old romantic wooden ship, but on the top of a jungle cliff, with an unbelievable view to the sea and surrounding island. The host was very friendly, and helpful, and the food was home made.

Good, albeit pricy for that style and level of amenity. It is romantic, and secluded, but it's not a 5 star resort, hence it shouldn't come at the price of one.

I house was beautifully made. and living in a open room with no doors and closed window was an interesting experience, since it rained and a part of the room received that rain. But never felt that our privacy was at risk. Also The height and the green surrounding make you feel like you are in a remote lush area. The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful.

The hike to the villa was very steep and since I had a fear of climbing up or down steep road (trauma from an accident), I found it difficult. While I did the climb and descend but still I had shaky legs and was almost crying at the end. Definitely not for someone with similar fears or limitations. They do provide a taxi to take you up with extra charge.

Everything ! The location in the middle of the jungle, the view, the cleanliness, the food and the mood and of course Gerard the boss. It was perfect for my honeymoon. Merci infiniment Gerard !

It was an amazing stay. Gerard and his team have a beautiful place - it’s so picturesque.

The only comment I would say is if you don’t like a steep climb up to the property then you might find it challenging but because it’s so secluded we didn’t mind the extra effort.

The location of this guest house is really unique inside the "jungle". The guest houses are made out of all natural elements, very well thought-out and lots of work invested. The breakfast and dinner were always delicious, healthy and plenty. The crew was really kind and always helpful. Our host Gerard was great to talk with, very positive man with lots of great stories. He also offered us a free upgrade just to make us happy, which we really appreciate and made our honeymoon even better. Our room was spacious, very unique open spaces to the nature, large balcony where you can relax with a nice free coctail after an exhausting day. Lot's of work is invested into this villa every year. If you like nature, I highly recommend Secret Garden Villa, you will not be disappointed.

The location is really up high on the hill, it is a hard walk every day, which is not for everybody.

MAGIC!! if you are loking for quiet nature and original experiance ? - do not search any more. Only you have to be fit tu climb up... We are comign back for sure....

- This is not "what I didn't like". Food is OK but some plates were a bit spicy for children. Staff cooked non-spicy food for them. I did appreciate their flexibility, actually. - Since it is very open space, we cannot stop insects coming in... - Again this is not a complaining. If you want to enjoy nice landscape, you have to go up! Steep slope to the villa was really good exercise...

No air conditioning, only fan. Very humid and hot, make me feel that I’m paying for camping in jungles, not enjoying my vacation. Steep climb from main road to villa.
