Hygge Chiado

The location was really good, close to everything but still a calm and safe street that wasn’t noisy at night. A bigger Supermarket nearby, about 3 min walk. The interior style of the apartment was fresh and modern, it feelt clean and updated.

The apartment was a lot smaller than in the pictures, it was difficult to make food because of the tiny area and not enough space to put things. One of us had to eat in the couch and one of us at the table, the couch also became our wordrobe and the place where we stored all of our things because there simple isn’t enough space to store clothes and things. I suggest putting up some shelves in the apartment and hooks to hang outdoor-jackets and also a shoe shelf, and add more clothes-hanger because there was only a few. The biggest problem with the apartment was the thin walls and floors. The street is calm but you really hear EVERYTHING that the neighbours do. We heard people talk on the phone at night, we heard neighbours having sex (not just one couple but from different rooms) I woke up everytime someone came home at night because the doors don’t shut out any noise, I also woke up when somebody’s wake up alarm rang from other apartments, and when the people in the room above us walked. We also couldn’t use the coffee machine because they need a different capsule than most coffee machines so I spemt the first two days walking around different supermakets and stores asking for the right coffee capsules but none of the supermarkets we found sell these ones so we ended up drinking instant coffee the whole week. It isn’t a terrible place and the staff did their best to be kind and helpful, for example the toaster was broken and two days later we got a new one, so the problem is more about the architecture of the building and the functionality which need some updates. For the price we paid I would have expected a bit more comfort.

Very centrally located and in a lovely area

It was a tiny apartment, living area was fine but the bedroom was a bit of a challenge, I had bruises on shins from having to squeeze around/over bed to get to bathroom despite being small and agile. However best use had been made of the space - all the buildings are quite small and there want much else that could have been done. Just be aware if you are not very mobile.

Mall olor, almohadas sin funda al llegar, y sin toallas. Lo solucionaron al escribirles pero tuvimos que esperar en la casa a que lo trajeran con un Uber. Mucho ruido de la calle de los trabajadores de la tienda de abajo, y de la planta de arriba retumbaban las pisadas. No había espacio en el retrete para sentarte normal y tenías que hacerlo de lado, el baño es minúsculo y no muy limpio, había hormigas y mosquitos que salen de las rejillas de ventilacion. Te atienden rápido y solucionan las incidencias, pero es que son muchas y la mayoría sin solución. Lo siento pero no lo recomendaría
