There was nothing to like

This motel is absolutely disgusting. Walked in and saw fresh “stains” on the bed cover and spent the next 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do. All hotels were booked in the area due to a big college event which is why we ended up there in the first place. I had hoped the good review for this place were true. No way they are. They can’t be. Left completely comfortable with the fact that sleeping in the car would be a much better option. We ended up finding a place after we left that saved us from that, but I honestly didn’t care when we walked out. Unsanitary. Pictures do not match what you walk into. Aside from the “stains” that completely did me in, the bathroom was like looking at an active science exprerimemt. The 20 minutes I spent there cost me almost $240. No refund, no offer to refund. Did offer a new room. We were WAY past even considering that. Driving away from this place made it the best $240 I’ve ever spent. Don’t do it. Like other reviews said.. staff seemed friendly, but at the end of the day did it matter? No.

It was okay

I was suppose to have two king beds but we had two queens which really wasn’t enough room. No ice machine/ vending machines but we only stayed there last minute to rest before driving a long ways back home.

Room was adequate and included fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable and location was quiet. There was a substitute for the owner doing check-in. Both she and the owner (who we saw the next morning) were pleasant. Location was good for our needs--we needed to be in the area and the only other nearby possibilities were extremely expensive.

Air conditioner too noisy to use while sleeping. Bathroom door did not close completely, and toilet paper roll was nearly used up with no replacement roll in sight. Bathroom floor looked as though it had not been washed in a while.

The space was quiet, new and quaint.

Nothing! It was a good motel!
