Perfect location if you don’t want to stay in the more crowded part of Varkala. Still close to a beach and a good and friendly restaurant with outdoor tables overlooking the waves. Very good standard and friendly staff.

A truly wonderful stay! The room was spotlessly clean and the hosts were incredibly warm. The highlight was the delicious breakfast, prepared with so much love and a new variety every day. There is currently some construction across the street, but we aren't deducting any points because it’s only temporary. The hosts were so thoughtful and went above and beyond to make sure we weren't disturbed. Their heartfelt hospitality and amazing home-cooked food made this a perfect stay!

Todo es muy nuevo, muy lindo y cómodo. La habitación muy linda, con sábanas, toallas impecables, el colchón nuevo. El desayuno es excelente. El servicio es también excelente! Es muy muy recomendable. La zona es muy tranquila. Hay una playita cerca, y desde ahí, caminando por un camino de acantilado, que desemboca en otra playa, se puede llegar caminando ( una hora más o menos) a la zona más concurrida de Varkala beach. Nosotros disfrutamos mucho l estadía, aún a pesar de que justo enfrente hay un hotel construcción y había un poco de ruido de la obra por la mañana.

"Amazing!"

We loved our stay at Wavealokam beach retreat. The owner and her team are super friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were extremely clean and the breakfast was also delicious. The owner also offered us to checkout late since our taxi was scheduled to arrive early afternoon. Regarding the location as well, we were super happy. The edava beach is just a 5 min walk away and is non- touristy. We enjoyed a private beach most times of the day. The ride to the north cliff is also just 10 mins away and the resort usually helps arrange a cab/tuktuk. Overall we would wholeheartedly recommend this stay and look forward to coming back again in the future :)
