"Authentic rural cottage in Montagu"

The Aloe cottage is an authentic place to go to in Montagu (two bedroom cottage). No aircon, so it can become very hot in the house. There are fans in all rooms so it was OK. The cleanliness could be improved. It was not dirty, but also the floors did not seem to be cleaned on a regular basis. I would maybe come back with my wife, as we do not need much, but I would not come back with friends who are used to a bit of luxury.

"Best night’s rest ever away from home."

Spacious living area and good room sizes. Well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom. Secure parking and quiet area. The beds were amazing. Best night’s sleep ever.

"Family short stay in August"

Very particular country house. Very good communication with host.

There is a fireplace and there are two heaters that can be moved around but the house remains overall cold in August. Unfortunately we have found the toilet dirty and dust in the rooms.
