Staff focused on money nothing else. No hospitality here.

It was very close to everything but check in was late mixer of shower was bed to open the main door going to the apartment/room no light and very noisy choose under the apartment there is a restaurant so no sleep before 1:00am plus you can't open a window choose all the smals of the restorant and the garbage will feel it from your room

The place has a lot of potencial, as its location is impressive, right on Via Etnea and a few steps away from the center. The rooms are nice, with a balcony to enjoy the morning sun. I read a lot of comments about the noise during the night, but you have to understand this is (South) Italy! The private bathroom on the other side of the building makes you walk a bit, but it was not a problem.

The problem was that while I was getting asleep I found a bedbug on my bed. I don't know if it was just one or if there is a bedbug problem at the property, the mattress seemed new but still...

The location.

All the time it smelled like slime, a big stinking puddle formed in front of the entrance and you couldn't pass. There was no way to ventilate the room, because as soon as we opened the window - stink, and if we opened the door to the corridor - again stink of old and of toilet. It was not very clean there were dust balls on the floor, the bed board was dusty and had stains, the shower door also had stains. There are no amenities, nowhere to leave your things in the bathroom, no towel rack or in the room itself, there was only one towel rack and only one body towel, we had to get the cleaners out to change our towels as we stayed 6 nights, no one cleaned the room in that time, no sheets were changed. Not even soap and only 1 roll of toilet paper. There were stains on the towels and sheets. There is no insulation, everything can be heard from the restaurant downstairs early in the morning and from the common areas. The first night the room next door was having a party and by 3am they were shouting, banging and making a lot of noise. Can't get much sleep because the noise from the restaurant starts early in the morning. There was no TV remote and the air conditioning could not be set to a different temperature. There was only one blanket left. The landlord and all the staff don't speak English, not even a little, which makes communication very difficult.
