Rum Darien Camp

This was one of the best experiences ever. Firstly, it must be said that Ayman is a great host who organized everything for me. He was waiting for me in the miting point, then took me to a camp in the desert. This place is perfect if you are looking for an authentic Bedouin experience and a nice night sky for stargazing. The tents are very comfortable. It has a nice common area to relax in after your arrival as the atmosphere is very nice. Dinner was great with a traditional dish called zarb. They show you how to cook it underground. Ayman took me with another guests to a beautiful place at sunset, where we made a fire and had tea. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. I did a jeep tour, the tour was great and I was able to see the important sites in the Wadi Rum desert. Explain, my driver, all I could see and I always stopped so I could take as many pictures as possible. I definitely recommend this place.‬‏

Everything was wonderful! We stayed there just one night, but we wanted to stay longer, because we felt like home there. The staff is very welcoming, the rooms are clean with a large bed and fluffy and warm blankets for colder evenings. The food was excellent, their traditional dinner was delicious (rice with vegetables and chicken cooked under the sand). As an activity, we opted for a 4-hour jeep tour in the desert. It was amazing, the landscapes are breathtaking. We recommend this camp with confidence. It was an unique experience.
