Hotel Vardar

Very central position in the heart of the old town. Very efficient and friendly staff. Quick check in and out. Lovely breakfast. Very comfortable rooms with everything we needed.

We absolved our stay at Hotel Vardar! The hotel is optimally situated just inside the old town. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. The hotel staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We took their restaurant recommendations and had amazing meals. There is also a really good restaurant at the hotel. The hotel breakfast was exceptional with a large variety of tasty food. We would definitely stay here again.

I am 76 years old. My husband was taken off a Celebrity Cruise in Montenegro and admitted to the worst hospital ever. I had all of our bags plus a wheel chair to deal with. The hotel is inside a walled city with no cars. I was given bad info by taxi driver ending with me walking with everything, a lot further than I should. I arrived as a hot mess. The receptionist apologized profusely, took my bags and me to my room, and told me to rest, and she would be right back. She returned with a lovely fruit platter. When my son and dil arrived later that night, she inquired about me and was told I was in bed with a horrible cold. She brought me fresh squeezed lemon juice! The hotel is immaculate. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. It is a great place to be in the center of old town, with loads of great restaurants nearby. The only drawback I could see was there is no parking available.

I would give it and the staff 5 stars. I didn't like my circumstances for being there, and I hated the Kotor hospital, but the hotel was amazing.

Beautiful place and great friendly staff

Can be difficult for early sleepers as the hotel is located above several restaurants and bars

Marija at desk exceptionally helpful. My wife wasnt well on arrival - Marija organised taxi to hospital (who were brilliant - diagnosed quickly) & left fruit in room another stage wishing my wife better. Just had a nice way about her. Hotel is footsteps from main entrance in main square. As my wife was tiring easily, no matter where, short walk back for her for a rest. Everything in old town close by.

No complaints really. If there was fresh fruit salad bowl each morning, would have been perfect.

Great location, central to everything. Beautiful room with a great rainfall shower! Best breakfast of our entire trip with tons of choices!
