STARFISH LUXURY APARTMENT

The cleaning lady that happened to be there cleaning one of the rooms the host owned. She called and talked to the host to help us. She was very helpful. if it wasnt for her we would not have had a place to stay for the night.

The host the night before switch us to another room in the complex. The complex itself is an old motel that people made into rental studios. It's not at all clean in the outside. The dumpster in the parking lot had trash piled up and trash surrounding it entirely. We were never sent any directions to get into the gated parking lot nor did we get codes. We were able to go into the parking lot after a tenant left . Once we were in we asked a random lady about the units that are rented. She happened to be the cleaner for the host. She called the host to tell him we were there without keys or codes. The host told her he gave our room away and that the only room available needed to be cleaned. She was very nice and cleaned it quick while we left to eat. Once in the room it was outdated room and bathroom was not comparable to the room we had booked. we stayed only because we had an early flight needed to leave by 5am. Definitely would not recommend

Liked the location. Super close to the beach, and there's a 24-hour walgreens next door. Also, the bus stops everywhere, so we didn't have to worry about a rental. Loved the nice kitchen with a stove, microwave, and fridge. Also provided silverware, plates, cups, and mugs. Pool was really nice and even lights up on weekends. The bathroom/shower was really nice and big too.

Opening some of the drawers was dirty. There are no clear instructions on check-in/ check out. Difficult finding phone number and location. Taxi had a hard time finding the place cause it's so hidden with no signs. If you've traveled to Mexico or lived in a similar country, it's not that bad, but my roommate was a not well cultured/ ignorant individual who hated all of it. This is a heads up that if you aren't used to the quirks of other countries or not as fortunate places, then this is not the place for you.

Location is great. 2 min walking to the beach, close to a lots of restaurants, pharmacies etc.

Price is very reasonable and I think you get for what you paid. The facility definitely needs some improvements. Bed is fine, coffee machine doesn’t work well and it is leaking, poor quality towels, no hand towel and bath mats provided. The shower’s curtain is gross and needs to be replaced. Shower is clogged and takes time to the water to drain. The location is very noisy because there’s a car wash right next to it. Overall it was ok because the apartment is very well located but I would not stay there again.

Location was great, right next to Charlie’s car rental, the best place for renting in Puerto Rico.

They need to fix the hot water in the shower. Both sinks get real hot but the regulator needs adjusting.
